March 2007 Legislative Update

Lobby Day - Tuesday March 20, 2007

Please join us. We need your voice to be heard.

We are coordinating the 2007 Tobacco Lobby Day with our partners
from the American Cancer Society and the American Heart
Association.

We are asking our legislators to make all workplaces 100%
smokefree, to increase the price of tobacco and to restore and
increase funding for the Tobacco Prevention and Education
Program.

We need YOU to make this happen. Legislators need to hear from
real people in their districts about how important these issues
are to you. Please SAVE THE DATE and plan on a fun,
action-packed day at the Capitol. We will provide training, an
opportunity to see the legislature in action, lunch and schedule
appointments with your representatives.

Please RSVP to Dana Kaye:503-924-4094 X19 or
dana@lungoregon.org. We will need to make the appointments with
your lawmakers and order lunches. There is also a Lobby Day Sign
Up Form on our website at
lungaction.org/ct/-dS2seM1MXPb/.
